Showcase: Jett Seymour
In his first full season on the World Cup, the first regular World Cup racing from a SSWSC male athlete in more than ten years, Jett had some flashes of brilliance but experienced all of the challenges of the grueling circuit. As the American slalom team (led by former SSWSC coach Ryan Wilson) fought to rise in the rankings, Jett managed to have his best races on the biggest stages. A top 25 finish at the biggest slalom race on the circuit in Schladming, Austria, led to a World Championships berth where Jett shocked the world with a top ten finish in the first run before crashing out in the second.
